Dear Class of 2021

Congratulations on your accomplishment of becoming a college graduate. In the face of COVID-19, your senior year looks different than what you could've ever imagined. You’ve worked so hard for this achievement. While COVID-19 has prevented you from having the senior year you envisioned, it can’t take away the memories that you’ve made in this time, or the lessons you’ve learned. Those are things that no one can take away from you.
We wish that we were able to celebrate you in a traditional manner, but it looks like we will have to reminisce on these moments together. From the first day you walked through the doors of recruitment, to the last chapter meeting you attended, there are so many moments we shared, and not just because of the long hours invested into recruitment. No one ever forgets their first bid day, or their big-little experience whether you’re the big or the little. We’ve shared a bunch of laughter at dance practices, and endless hours of studying for exams.
Who would’ve thought things would’ve ended this way? We’re saddened with the fact that our time together has been different than what we had hoped. However, we're so thankful that even in the face of a pandemic we still had sisterhood, from Netflix parties, to Zoom retreats, and phone calls.

You’re about to start on the next chapter of your life. As an alumna, know that you won’t be forgotten, and we will always be happy to see you again. Never forget that we are so proud of all that you’ve done, and can’t wait to see what you accomplish in this new chapter of your life.
For the prospective high school graduates looking to start their new chapter at UCF, we look forward to getting to know you and the possibility of being part of your journey. With all the possibilities that exist in college, know that the thing that enhances the experience is being surrounded by people who understand you and will support you in your endeavors.

It's not four years, it's for life.
With Love,
The Eta Lambda Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta

"Before you know it your time as a collegiate Gamma Phi will be over! Take full advantage of everything this chapter has to offer and all of the memories that come along with it. You will find your forever bestie gals and a new home that will stay with you for the rest of your life!"

"To all my amazing sisters... Thank you so much for supporting me and making me feel so special and wanted within the chapter. All the friendships we make will last a life time. Be sure to get as involved as you can and make the most of your time in Gamma Phi, because it really does go by so quickly. Support and love each other! But most importantly keep smiling and have fun."
