Welcome to another great year with the Eta Lambda chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at UCF.  I am

Rebecca Kurkowski and I feel so grateful to have been elected as Chapter President of this beautiful sisterhood for 2021. While things may look a little different this year, we are getting ready for a fun schedule of social activities, volunteer opportunities and philanthropy events.

Our focus is always giving back to the community, and we are constantly looking for new

and meaningful ways to do so. At the Gamma Phi Beta National Convention in 2016, we won the Heart of Gold Award for our contributions to the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation. Along with this, our sisters are very active in all aspects of life here at UCF, from participating in Knight Thon, to being active servant leaders in student government, and much more.

As a chapter who aims to promote the highest type of womanhood, we are constantly

encouraging each other to be better than we are and are so proud of our sisterhood. As 2021 progresses, the one thing that I can honestly say is that I’m proud to be President of an organization with so much love, diversity, and willingness to accept changes with grace. Thank you for taking a moment to explore our website and learn more about us.

If any questions come up while you are getting to know us, I hope you’ll take the time to

contact me with them. Whether you are a young woman considering Greek life, or the family member of someone who is, or are already a member of our sisterhood, we are grateful for your interest in and support of our chapter. Hopefully you can see the values of love, labor, learning, and loyalty on every page.
